OUR MISSION

New Jersey Early Music (NJEM) is dedicated to enriching New Jersey's cultural landscape by promoting early music as an accessible art form. We achieve this by providing free and low-cost educational programs, hosting diverse performances and festivals for the public, and creating an inclusive community for musicians of all skill levels and backgrounds to learn, grow, and perform.

Our Director

Ms. Valentin holds a Bachelor’s in Music in Classical Vocal Performance from William Paterson University (2009) and plays recorder, flute, and tin whistle.She is a NY/NJ area Soprano and Liturgical Musician, with performances across the region, infusing NJPAC and Carnegie Hall. Se has performed internationally in England and Italy as part of the International Academy of Music and their Young Artist annual programs.Ms. Valentin is a passionate historical recreationist, specifically medievalist. She is actively involved with various historical nonprofits locally and nationally. She brings her love of art and story into every performance!
