OUR MISSION

New Jersey Early Music (NJEM) is dedicated to enriching New Jersey's cultural landscape by promoting early music as an accessible art form. We achieve this by providing free and low-cost educational programs, hosting diverse performances and festivals for the public, and creating an inclusive community for musicians of all skill levels and backgrounds to learn, grow, and perform.

Our Director

Ms. Valentin holds a Bachelor’s in Music in Classical Vocal Performance from William Paterson University (2009). There she studied under Dr. Stephen Bryant, Nan Guptill Crain, and Warren Helms, her recital accompanist. She is also a flute and recorder player. She performs within the NY/NJ metro area as a professional soprano and liturgical musician, and has also performed internationally in England and Italy as part of the International Academy of Music’s Young Artists program.
